GIVING CHILDREN A CHANCE.
ALL OVER THE WORLD.
San Mateo is our lead project which is to build out a school for orphaned and girls in need of refuge in the Dominican Republic. The project kicked off in 2016 with our first fundraiser in April 2016. We are currently developing a sustainability model to ensure that once established the children's home will be self sustaining by locals. Expect to hear more as this project develops.
Ishimwe is a wonderful organization founded by Roger and Faith Shaw and is based in Rwanda. Faith, a survivor of the Rwandan genocide and her husband Roger who left behind a career in Silicon Valley have dedicated their lives to helping the children of Rwanda. They operate an orphanage, school and clinic as well as the Lakeside fishfarm.
Lakeside is a fish farm in the Ishimwe community that provides local villagers with employment. Locals maintain the fish farm and bring the tilapia and catfish raised at the farm to market for sale. Additionally while villagers are working their children attend the Ishimwe school on site.
